  • He Really Is Everywhere: Sometimes it’s hard to get little ones interested in books, especially when they’d rather be watching their favorite shows. NoveList understands this and has recommended reads based on popular characters. On the left Curated Lists menu, click on Ages 0-8. Then, click on For Fans of...Among other choices, you’ll see For Fans of...Bluey: a list of “picture books featuring imaginative play, sibling and family relationships.”
  • New to Nonfiction: Even the biggest readers have trouble getting interested in nonfiction books. Go back to the main page and under Curated Lists, click the Nonfiction tab, then Ages 0-8. Click on Must Reads (Nonfiction) and then Best Younger Kids Nonfiction 2024 to find expert picks on a wide-range of topics.
  • Perfect Timing: There are plenty of picks for older kids, as well! On the home page under Curated Lists go to the Fiction tab and also choose Ages 9-12. Click on Seasonal Reads and look at the CSLP: Color Our World list to find artsy reads that tie into our Summer Reading Program theme!
