Beginner Basics: Want to learn something new but not sure where to start? Hover over Classes in the top menu to view the different categories offered. Hover over Paper, and you’ll see there are craft types but also a link “For Beginners.” Click on it to discover a variety of projects built for newbies across the paper crafting realm. - Tip: If the choices are a little overwhelming, just go back to the Paper menu and select a specific type, e.g. Book Arts. Use the Filter Results drop-down > scroll to Class Type > select For Beginners.
Crafty Kids: There are also plenty of activities for makers of all ages to stretch their creative muscles! (Or keep them busy on a rainy day.) Use the Classes menu again but go to Kids + Teens. Click on “4 to 7 Years” to find tutorials for that age group, including some STEAM activities to incorporate a little more learning.
Fit to Print: Back at the top menu, click on Patterns & Printables. Scroll down a little and click on Recipes. There are some downloadable PDFs for delicious treats like spritz cookies and marshmallows, but you can also grab instructions for making your own soaps and salves! Like to share your own recipes? Then check out the printable heirloom recipe cards.
